ECHO-aiLAL is an independent music project. This site is operated by the project. For any question about this page or about your data, write to privacy@echoailal.com.

Analytics

We use two tools to see how the site is used. Neither is used for advertising, and neither is used to build a profile of you.

• Cloudflare Web Analytics — always on. It uses no cookies and stores nothing on your device. It records the page requested, the referring page, and a coarse country, and it does not follow you between sites.
• Google Analytics 4 — records page views, the pages you move between, and the campaign tag on the link you arrived from (so we can tell whether a visit came from one of our YouTube videos). It sets cookies on your device. Google Analytics 4 truncates IP addresses and does not log them.

Cookies and consent

Google Analytics 4 is the only thing on this site that sets a cookie.

If you are visiting from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask before loading it. Until you accept, Google Analytics is not loaded at all — no script, no cookie, no request to Google. Declining is one click, the same as accepting, and the site works identically either way.

Elsewhere, Google Analytics loads on arrival. You can switch it off for this site at any time using the link below.

Change your cookie choice

YouTube

Song pages show a still image with a play button, not a live YouTube player. Nothing is requested from YouTube until you press play. When you do, the video is loaded from youtube-nocookie.com, which does not set tracking cookies unless you actually watch. From that point Google's own privacy terms apply.

Server logs

This site is served by Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes requests to keep the site up and to block attacks, which involves handling your IP address for a short period. We do not keep our own server logs.

How long data is kept

Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months and then deleted automatically. Your cookie choice is stored in your own browser for 13 months, after which we ask again. Cloudflare Web Analytics keeps aggregated counts only.

Your choices

• Use the link above to withdraw or give consent at any time.
• Install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on to block Google Analytics everywhere.
• Block or clear cookies in your browser settings.
• If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, you may ask us for access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, and you may complain to your national data protection authority.

If we add or remove a tool, this page changes first and the date below is updated. If a change requires your consent, we will ask again.
